Veterinary vaccines protect animals both individually and collectively against diseases caused by viral, bacterial or parasitic pathogens and, in the case of zoonoses, prevent the risk of transmission to humans. Their authorisation by the French Agency for Veterinary Medicinal Products (ANMV) is subject to the same strict requirements as for human vaccines.
